Plum Deluxe | Organic Loose Leaf Teas

We all have stressful and complicated days. Taking time for ourselves becomes very important for our well being. One of my favorite ways to relax includes tea time. There’s nothing that soothes the soul like sitting in a comfy chair with a good book and a nice warm cup of tea. Since having a perfect cup of tea is like sunshine to my day, when Andy Hayes, the creator of Plum Deluxe, asked me if I’d like to give their organic loose leaf teas a try I gladly said yes.

What is Plum Deluxe?

Plum Deluxe is an organic loose leaf tea company based in Portland, Oregon and created by Andy Hayes. Currently there are 15 hand blended teas you can choose from and three dessert blends– chocolate hazelnut, coconut macaroon and creme caramel tea. Plum Deluxe also offers a Tea Of The Month Club for $10/month. Subscribers receive the following:

” 1 oz of a custom seasonally-perfect artisan tea made just for the club, as well as a 2nd tea sample. Subscribers also enjoy access to a robust and supportive private tea lover’s community, tea-inspired recipes, discounts on extra teas and supplies, along with surprise gifts and treats throughout the year. “

And guess what? Tea Of The Month Club subscriptions are available as gifts in 3, 6, or 12 month increments. Now that’s a perfect gift for any tea lover in your life. Plum Deluxe also offers Custom Tea Blends for events such as parties and weddings, as well as, several tea accessories like a Tea Moments Tasting Journal, Orange Blossom Honey Sticks, Tea Mugs and one of my favorites, their Tea Time Coloring Pages.

I opted to try three of their loose leaf tea blends and, my lovelies, believe when I tell you there is nothing regular about Plum Deluxe tea.

Sunshine In A Cup

Calendula Flowers & Hibiscus Flowers are hand blended in this cup of, well, the name says it all– sunshine. I normally start my days at 4 am. So the tart and tangy taste of Sunshine In A Cup is exactly what I need to start my morning with a clear mind. Besides a lovely scent, you can expect a lovely shade of cranberry red and no bitter aftertaste.

Self Care Blend

Honeybush Tea, Elderberries, Apricots, Apple Pieces, Sunflower Petals & Natural Apricot Essence blend in this flavorful cup for those perfect moments of rest and relaxation. After a long day of work, I definitely needed some one on one time with Zadry. So I fixed myself a cup of Self Care with warm almond milk, snuggled in bed for a lazy afternoon and let the spicy sweetness take me away.

Cuddletime Sleepy Tea

Chamomile, Rooibos Tea, Peppermint Leaves & Vanilla Essence combine in this blend to create the perfect cup for sweet dreams. In order to start the next day with a pep in my step a good night’s sleep is always a must. So right before bedtime I brewed a nice warm cup of Cuddletime Sleepy Tea and let the stress of the day go. And I have to tell you that it smells absolutely heavenly. This flowery blend will definitely help to lull you to sleep.

The three blends I tried are completely different, but equally delicious. I’m a visual person, so beyond the taste, the colors and combinations of the loose leaves are just beautiful. Is it possible to have a crush on tea? Well, I’m not ashamed to say that I’m officially in love with Plum Deluxe. And after you give them a try, you will too.

You can find Plum Deluxe online at, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. Until next time, my lovelies,
