Halloween, Halloween

This past Saturday was Halloween and throughout all of social media the ghouls and gals came out to play. I missed out on the festivities this year, but it was fun seeing all the great and creative costumes. Here are some of my favorite looks of the night:

1.Cat N, Cat Can Craft

“Passionate about the pomegranate!”

One of the absolutely cutest costumes this season was Cat’s ode to the Pom Wonderful juice bottle. Antioxidants at their cutest.

My #Halloween #costume 2015: @pomwonderful bottle! I've always joked about sharing the same body type as my favorite juice, so I decided it was time for the vision to come alive! All of the front lettering is felt that has been hand sewn to a dress (from ebay). Most of the nutritional facts on my bum are done with puffy paint. The cap hat is made from cardboard, phonebook paper, hot glue, and some netting. My purse is a large Pom Wonderful bottle, dyed with alcohol ink, lined in cellophane with a ribbon strap and button closure. Wig is from Amazon! Shoes are thrifted. Please let me know if you have any questions, and Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃 #costume #costumes #cosplay #diy #fatshion #effyourbeautystandards #me #costuming #curvy #chubbybunny

2. Marie Denee, The Curvy Fashionista

“I am Nature’s arm. Her spirit. Her will. Hell, I am Mother Nature, and the time has come for plants to take back the world so rightfully ours! ’cause it’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature.”  — Poison Ivy

Marie looks amazing as Poison Ivy. Can we talk about that makeup? Weeds have never looked so fierce!

3. Margot Meanie, Margot Meanie

“No, Zero. Down, boy… My, what a brilliant nose you have. The better to light my way! You’re the head of the team, Zero!” — Jack Skellington

My blogger babe Margot was ghoulishly fabulous as Jack Skellington from “A Nightmare Before Christmas”. Ghost dog Zero and a handsomely ginger bearded Sally also joined her in the fun.

4. Gabi Gregg, Gabifresh

“Murray, I have asked you repeatedly not to call me “woman”. “– Dee

Blogging phenom and the reason why my curves look amazing on the beach Gabi Gregg was the perfect embodiment of  Cher’s BFF Dionne Davenport in “Clueless”…and how cute is her honey as Murray.

5. Tess Holliday

“If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have had my little… accident.” — Ms. Argentina

Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Tess as Ms. Argentina is absolutely genius.

6. Monique Frausto, Curves and Chaos

“My Beloved! Have you come for me?” — Lady in White

This haunting look by Mo would even scare La Llorona.

Happy Halloween freaks! 👻💀🎃 #trickortreat

7. Allison McGevna

“Vodoo Girl…She has many different zombies who are deeply in her trance. She even has a zombie who was originally from France.” — Tim Burton

Plus model and writer Allie McGevna is one vodoo doll you might not know how to stay away from.

8. Nadia Aboulhosn, Nadia Aboulhosn

“Your a fake and a phony and I wish I never laid eyes on you.” — Sandy Olsen

Rydell High’s eyebrow game will never be the same.

9. Cassie Westfall, Style Cassentials

“We can do it!” — Rosie The Riveter

Cassie embodies feminist and cultural icon– Rosie the Riveter. I think she pulled it off perfectly!

10. Ashley Nell Tepton

“That’s all there is, there isn’t any more.”

Our favorite Project Runway designer was absolutely adorable this year as Ludwig Bemelmans’ mischievous and precocious Parisian shoolgirl –Madeline.

11-12. Georgina Grogan, She Might Be Loved

Why is Georgina 11-12 you ask? Well she kicked Halloween ass this month. She did not one or two costumes– no, Georgina created 12 looks! That’s right my lovelies, 12. Making her this year’s queen of All Hallow’s Eve.

“Mirror, mirror, here I stand. Who is the fairest in the land?”

Where do I begin with the awesomeness that is this costume by Georgina– Pop Art Snow White, all the yeses!

“Bah! In my day, we had fantastical feasts when I lived in the palace. And now, look at me – wasted away to practically nothing – banished, and exiled, and practically starving, while he and his flimsy fish-folk celebrate.” — Ursula

Sea hag? I think not!

I can’t wait for next Halloween! Which are your favorites? Did you dress up too? Share your comments and costume photos below. Until next time my lovelies,
