March is National Women’s History month and International Woman’s Day (March 8th).  It’s the perfect time to devote ourselves to all things womanhood. Although I believe we should immerse ourselves in empowering messages on a daily basis this is a great platform to learn more about women’s issues and get to know more about the women that have impacted our world.

I think it’s important to remember that although we’ve come along way, there is still a long path ahead. There are still many things that need to be changed in our global society when it comes to women’s rights and freedoms. Just like the generations before us made strides to make our lives better, it’s our responsibility as members of this global womanhood to improve the lives of the generations to follow.

So today in celebration of  this month of sisterhood, I’m sharing with you quotes from 11 fierce femmes that will inspire and empower you.
