“A Bounteous Woman” by Kamylin Naylor-Miller

I am a woman truly
My frame carried with easy grace
My steps not those of mincing and unsure coy youth
I bear the marks of a full womanhood
And their scars have marked dark silvery whispers on the canvas of my skin.

Held witness to the slice for those who mourn and joy to friends held dear.
From this bounty I have held a man’s heated gaze and cooled ardor with a smile
Know that similarly I have born witness to a quicker passion at the stark truth for the wanting of a woman such as I
Truly in all things I am a bounty indeed do you, to such fruit, fear to bear witness?
