Blazing in Cobalt

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
― Coco Chanel

Last week I shared with you my slight obsession with Mynt 1792 and how lucky I was to have won an opportunity to select a few of their pieces for my very own. Well two of my favorite new Mynt pieces are the ‘Cobble Hill’ Blazer & Thompson Zipper Skinny. I have been lusting for a pair of cobalt jeans for quite sometime so I was really excited to see that MYNT had these great pair of high waist skinny jeans. And Cobalt blue is perfect for this season, it’s a beautiful color that will definitely make you stand out in any crowd.
As far as blazers go I am usually not a fan since I’m both plus size and short (5’2 in real life, 5’5 in heels). I have found it difficult in the past to find the right fit which calls for a blazer that is the perfect combination of  length and cut so that I don’t end up looking boxy. Well, I am glad I decided to take a chance on the Cobble Hill blazer, and ladies I was not disappointed.

First of all have you ever heard someone say something feels “like butter”?  That is the very first thing I thought of when I touched this blazer and I just couldn’t wait to try it on. This is a versatile piece that can be easily dressed up or down and I also love that you have an option of wearing it open or buttoned depending on what look your’re going for. It fits my curves perfectly and what woman doesn’t love that.

What I’m wearing:  Jacket & Denim by MYNT 1792 , necklace : Ily Couture , top: Banana republic, booties : Franco Sarto
